Analysis Methods for Electromagnetic Wave Problems (The Artech House Microwave Library)

This is a concise overview of mathematical techniques used to analyze and solve electromagnetic wave problems. Current methods for using computers to design linear antennas and microwave printed circuits are explored here, as are ways of using superconductors to apply the FD-TD and the FE methods. Each chapter contains practice problems and answers, and nearly half of the chapters include examples of actual calculation programs. This work is intended for researchers in the industry exploring new aspects of microwave circuits and antennas, and for graduate engineering students.
