This book is a review of the eight major models of family therapy. Each chapter uses the same format to present the philosophy, goals, theories, therapeutic processes and techniques of the most frequently used models. Additionally, the background of the theorist(s), primary source books and research findings are included in each chapter to promote thought and discussion amongst the students. The text is designed for the beginning and advanced marriage and family therapy students and also for novice practitioners.
