Spiritual Patriots

Subtitle: Jude's Call to Arms Patriots are people who passionately love their homeland and are willing to support and defend it with their lives. The word evokes memories of people like Patrick Henry and George Washington. Patriots aren't looking for a fight, but they are willing to take a stand. The Bible tells us the stories of many great spiritual patriots. From Abraham and Moses to Peter and John, the Bible tells the story of men and women who loved God enough to take a stand for His kingdom regardless of the physical consequences. God calls every Christian to be a Spiritual Patriot. The book of Jude was written to encourage just those people. Jude described false teachers who were tearing the church apart, and he called on the church to take up spiritual arms against them. That call still rings true for the Lord's church today.
