Miro's Dream (Gateways Fine Art Series)

This book of drawings and poetry is a tribute to the great Catalan artist, Joan Miro, by a contemporary artist, E.J. Gold. Composed in the French livre d'artiste style, the book presents drawings and poetry on facing pages. Both art and verse follow a dream narrative based on Miro's early career in Paris when he was spending all of his support money on art supplies rather than food.
