Part I is Notes for Infantry Officers, 1917 which includes chapters on the special characterists of trench fighting, the siting and construction of trenches, trench routines, etc. Part II is Diagrams of Field Defenses 1918 , a detailed construction manual with line drawings of every type of field fortification, post, bunker, trench used by the British Army at the end of the war.
