Chiricahua

Chiricahua's delicate spires, massive columns, and huge balanced rocks are eroded remnants of volcanic rhyolite. These rugged mountains in southeastern Arizona, once home to Apaches led by Cochise and Geronimo, shelter a remarkable diversity of flora.
