His dad,who visits the tree every day, told Jim in a dream, "When we're on the same team, Jim, nothing can beat us, and we are on the same team." The beautiful Italian Stone Pine is the inspiration, doing its part by accepting God's mandate to grow. Some day the tree will be 40 feet tall. But Jim is really the main author of A TREE! FOR ME! because the poem and narrative that follow came from him.
