A Century of Princes: Sources on Timurid History and Art

Published in conjunction with the exhibition "Timur and the Princely Vision: Persian Art and Culture in the Fifteenth Century." The said exhibition will be held at the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in Washington on April 30 to July 6, 1989 and at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on August 13 to November 5, 1989. It surveys the arts of the Timurid dynasty in Persia and Central Asia in the context of its political, social, and cultural ambitions.
