Tactical Missile Aerodynamics (Progress in Astronautics and Aeronautics)

Tactical Missile Aerodynamics provided a mid 1980's update to the field for aerodynamicists and designers of missile systems and includes contributions from nationally recognized experts. Special attention is paid to nonlinear flow phenomena and unconventional airframe shapes. The book is divided into two parts. Part I contains in-depth reviews to introduce the reader to the most important concepts since Nielson's 1960 text. Part II represents comprehensive reviews of predictive methodologies, ranging from semi-empirical engineering tools to finite-difference solvers of partial differential equations. The book concludes with two chapters for computing viscous flows. There are 17 chapters in the text.
