Agony of Survival

Agony of Survival is a 1945 chronicle of a young lieutenant in the United States Army in postwar Germany. Caught in an emotional maelstrom of half-starved emaciated survivors of the concentration camps, he was charged with the responsibility for the care and repatriation of displaced persons in his area.
