The Ngondro, Preliminary Practices to Mahamudra

he Heart Wisdom series aims to make the teachings of Ringu Tulku Rinpoche available to a wider audience, by bringing his oral teachings to the written page. This volume comprises a set of teachings on the Ngondro contemplations and practices, which are foundational to the experience of Mahamudra. When we talk about the Ngondro, we are actually trying to bring all our Dharma knowledge into our experience. When we understand Dharma from the bottom of our hearts, then it will really help and we will be improving our mind Dharma practice means dealing with our mind, working with our mind, transforming our mind. Why do we need to do this? Because, due to our basic confusion and misunderstanding, we do not really know who we are.
