Born with the unusual ability to transfer his thoughts into the minds of others, Calfain travelled the market towns and villages sharing his unique talent with the locals - for a small, or not so small price - depending on their ability to pay. He made a living, but would never fulfill his own dream of becoming rich. Some said he was a charlatan, no better than a common street performer who took their money and left them smiling. But there was one who desperately wanted to know if he was a genuine dreamweaver. The Lady of the manor would pay a kings ransom if Calfain could reunite her and her son, taken by his father to an island on the other side of the country. All that was needed was for the dreamweaver to erase the man's memory.
