Storytelling: An Effective Communication Appeal in Preaching

The Christian story which was deeply formative for much that has benefited Western culture, has now largely been replaced by the consumer story which in turn has led to a profound cultural crisis. Many in the Western world are deeply unhappy and in the view of many who are Christians, there is a need for a new evangelisation of the West. Christians who have been brought up in the Western world are increasingly being joined in this task by those who have arrived in the West from parts of the world where the Christian Church is vital and flourishing.
