Silk Road Pilgrimage

On the journey of life, none of us know what is around the next bend. All of us need guidance and wisdom from the One who knows our final destination and how to get there. This book takes us on two journeys: one is a physical journey, through the lands of Central Asia and the Caucasus, but on the way, we also find ourselves on a journey of spiritual discovery. In the course of conversations with people along the Silk Route, our eyes are opened to new truths that we might not have noticed but are actually all around us. We will discover that, for the one who has eyes to see, our cultures and some of our traditions, like circumcision or the paying of kalym - and even the carpets under our feet! - can act as signposts on the way to the Mountain of God.
