He went on to connect with Jiddu Krishnamurti and Robert Adams, as well as spending nine years apprenticed to mindfulness teacher Ruth Denison and another six years as a Buddhist meditation monk in the Thai forest tradition, under the guidance of Ajahn Sumedho.
