The Charmer Ron Muddle: A True Life Story

This is the true story of a man that started from humble beginnings, working in his father’s garage, to owning a business in the sport of kings. This businessman, Ron Muddle, grew up in the Sussex countryside and achieved no academic qualifications though he was good at maths and sport. He got a job with the Air Ministry in 1940 as an air crash investigator. An opportunity then fell into Ron’s lap that led him to create several successful businesses in the working years of his life. One such business was Wolverhampton Racecourse where he installed an all weather racetrack under floodlights that was opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II in June 1994. This was his last big business before his retirement to the country in 1999.
