This book focuses on the on the people and events that shaped history, both good and bad, from about 1880 to the 1930's, about Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. The beginning of the period brought famed industrialists from places like Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Louis to resorts and hotels on the areas many lakes. Once here many bought land their "cottages" as escapes from the heat of the city. Later prohibition and another type of "powerful" culture graced the area and impacted the history in a far different way. While the illegal booze flowed along came crime and murder.
