The answer is journalist Kim Herdman, the author of the hilarious travel memoir: Gelato with the Pope: and other adventures of a travel writer in Europe. Seems like a tough life, hmm? Well, all sarcasm aside, there are difficulties for a single female journalist living out of a small bag, desperately trying to stretch her budget to cover her costs. So although her lifestyle at times might have been more hostel than Hilton, this book still provides us with a wonderfully honest portrait of the author and her adventures.
These include spending time with the last Irish storyteller in Gaelic speaking Ireland and visiting Jean Vanier in France, falling in love "on the road", and of course, the episode with His Holiness .......
