Francis Angier was raised on a Vermont farm and became a B-17 pilot during WWII. He flew jets and helicopters during the Cold War, as well as many other types and models during a long aviation career. His love of flying was only exceeded by his love of family and country. Shot down over Germany in 1944, he spent seven months as a POW. His training, air battles, capture and survival are part of the story.
