This is a newly type-reset reprint of Silas Tertius Rand's classic 1875 primer for learning the Mi'kmaq (Micmac) language - a Canadian aboriginal language used by over 6,000 speakers in the Atlantic provinces, as well as some 1,000 speakers in the U.S. It contains a wealth of vocabulary categorized according to topics, as well as lessons with reading exercises.
