The author helped build the first-strike nuclear supersonic A5-C Bomber (with 5 nuclear war heads), the first Navy Condor "Cruise Missile," and the first guidance system for anti-personnel cluster "Smart Bombs" that kill thousands of civilians in Vietnam. He also worked on a contract for the "Star Wars" Antiballistic Missile (ABM) defenses. The author, who tells his true story from the heart, has two identities: (1) that of a contracts manager at Rockwell International, one of the largest corporations building nuclear weapons; (2) that of a believing Christian and practicing Catholic. The split... The doctors tell Siemer that he has a short time to live unless he stops drinking. Without alcohol it becomes impossible for his two identities to cohabitate. His conscience wins in the crisis and Siemer leaves Rockwell. The Christian who is guilty of dedicating his life to war decides to appeal to his Church to try to stop the insanity of nuclear weapons and especially "Star Wars"
