Burning Lands: A Darwin's World Novel

Burning Lands is a story of the battle between the oppressive suffocation that is civilization and the wild unpredictability that comes with real freedom. In a world two hundred years after a planet wide cataclysm, the descendants of a great war's survivors are only now pulling themselves out of the chaos of the aftermath. The descendants of the Great Enemy, stranded on these shores for generations, have unified and begun to rebuild a new civilization on the ashes of the old. Their hope is to bury the animosities of the past, a lasting feud that no longer seems relevant. Poised against them are the wild natives of this land, who still cling to fragments of their ancestral memory of freedom, and yearn for independence from these foreign "invaders".
