Discussions in the New Cosmology: Evolutionary, Creation-Centered Spirituality

He guides us as he explores our journey through the universe of the new cosmology. In the course of his intellectual journey he has opened up so many new ways by which to view the world and the cosmos that surrounds and embraces us so that we come “to feel at home in the universe.” He has taught us that we are part of the cosmos, that our bodies carry within them all of the elements of the periodic table that derived from the dust of exploding stars. Furthermore Dick states that all of reality consists of interconnected relationships-in-motion permeated by a sacred radiant energy. He tells us the four Cs of the Great Story: cosmogenesis, creativity, chaos and compassion. In this Great Story it is we who are the “Second Coming,” as participants with God as co-creators of the ever expanding universe.
