During a tough school year, 15-year-old Jade Haddock struggles with the realization that she and her flirty, outgoing girlfriend have feelings for the same boy. At the same time she's trying to sort through her complicated relationships with Rob and Stephanie, her family must come to grips with the trauma and torment of an older brother's addictions to alcohol and involvement with drugs. Jade, a perfectionist who constantly makes lists, discovers life isn't always neat and orderly and choices aren't always simple.
