Guilt by Association

Author Jean Martin's novel, "Guilt by Association", combines romance, a missing person, and murder. Annika Larsson, a well respected Boston forensic psychologist, moves to Maine after the untimely death of her husband. She becomes entangled in a romantic relationship. When she is hired by the Maine State Police to help in the investigation of the mysterious disappearance of a woman, things get complicated. Martin's book gives an inside look at power, control, and cruelty in relationships. The setting is Maine and Isle au Haut, an island off the coast of Maine.
