Sometimes a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on is all someone needs to lift them up out of the depths of despair and bein the healing process. When the company of Pelco opened its heart and hand to New York's Bravest and Finest in their darkest hour, a chain reaction took place opening the door for healing in ways no one could have ever imagined or foreseen. One CEO did what he could, and his efforts allowed others to give in ways they otherwise could not. "Healing the Hero's Heart" is the author's personal account of this tragedy through the hearts and eyes of those who were saving lives and searching for remains at Ground Zero; the survivors, their families and friends.
