Description ▲
Finally, we have a book that deals with practical realities of our everyday thoughts and actions. All that a person is and will become is predicated upon what goes on in that individual's mind or brain.
What we plant in the garden of our mind and how well we maintain it determines the quality, value, and type of harvest that will be realized. This book, My Mind, Lord!, carefully unravels the complexity of thoughts juggling, simultaneously in our minds for dominance. This juggling process can exacerbate exhaustion. A person commits suicide after a dominant thought has ripened into action.
Have you ever grabbled with an onslaught of thoughts and found it hard to stop their incoming? See the mind's watchdogs on page 67 for pointers to block thoughts. How many times have you been stopped by a random thought right in the middle of a productive activity and you can't seem to reconnect? I call these random thoughts "flash thoughts." My Mind, Lord! deals with the sources and effects of "flash thoughts", see page 22.
