The Sikhs: Sovereignty to Slavery

The book is a compilation of all the great Sikh heroes in the last three centuries, whose names are seared into the hearts of every man, woman and child who professes the Sikh Faith. Starting from the first Sikh General Gurbaksh Singh popularly known as Baba Banda Singh Bahadur (1670-1716) who commanded the first Peoples (Sikh) Army of Punjab, to General Joginder Jaswant Singh (2006-2007) who commanded the Indian Armed Forces; all true Sikh soldiers who gave their lives for the Sikh Nation and service to other countries especially to preserve peace in Europe in both the World Wars, has been detailed in this very interesting book. The author Dr. Awatar Singh Sekhon has also succulently written about the history of the sovereign Sikh kingdom of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and finally about the current situation of the Sikh nation under the tyranny of undemocratic India.
