Tightrope to Justice

The First in the "Justice" series. Hop on the back of Kelley Ryan’s motorcycle as she tries to find out who killed her uncle, Detective Bill Sloan. Kelley’s adventure starts when her uncle’s friend, Jack Walters, informs her that he does not believe the Dolphin Springs Police Officer met his death in a boating accident. He believes that Sloan was murdered. He offers to help Kelley find the murderer and invites her to join his private investigative agency. There, she meets his nephew, Phil Willis, who joins in her personal pursuit. Jack sends them to Sarasota to work with retired circus performers to learn special skills that will aid them in their investigative work. Kelley expands her motorcycle skills while Phil becomes an expert in firearms, marksmanship and knife throwing. Their adventures come one after another as they continue to search for the Sloan’s killer. They stop a hold up at a pizza parlor, terminate a bank robbery and save the Tampa mayor’s son from committing suicide by jumping off the Sunshine Skyway Bridge The suspects mount and the tensions increase as they develop a plan to have the circus group put on a special show to break into the Lt. Governor’s home and search for drug plans. The adventure ends as Kelley discovers the murderer is someone she least suspects. Less unexpected however, is the growing relationship between Kelley and Phil.
