Our Struggle is not against Flesh

In 1888, Ellen G. White wrote her masterpiece, The Great Controversy, unfolding the vast conflict between the powers of good and evil, Jesus and Satan, from the creation of the world until its cataclysmic end. Her writings hold back an invisible curtain, exposing interactions and influences that would otherwise be hidden from human comprehension. Our Struggle is not against Flesh abbreviates and paraphrases The Great Controversy to make it more accessible to contemporary readers.

Long before the Christian church organized, Paul described the influence of the antichrist, the powers turning Christians away from God and the Bible as His Word. Even the Protestant Reformation failed to return Christians to a pure faith. The book will elevate the reader's perceptions of current and catastrophic world events as well as daily conflicts, showing them to be part of that greater controversy between Christ and Satan referred to in Ephesians 6:12. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
