Life Lessons Learned In Paris & Beyond

I thought I went to Paris to go to a Cookbook Fair and apply to study as a culinary artist with the renowned Cordon Bleu Cooking School. The seed that started my journey to Paris came from a surprisingly sweet source.Quickly, I found out that the four day trip to Paris in March of 2011, was about finding myself and God in the process. “For where your treasures are, so too you will find your heart.” My heart is French, my mind is quick and my heart has trouble catching up to my mind; so for me to “feel” before I “think” which was one of the epiphanies I had after the trip, was truly a gift. What I took with me to Paris, was a lot of emotional baggage; I came home with a new lease on life. A life that no longer settles for mediocre but reaches for the stars.
