Proust's Macaroon

In the medieval world of contemporary law firms John Botts is a vassal whose lord and mentor has moved on leaving him at the mercy of the Managing Partner of Biggins, Tostick & Thomas, LLP. Proust's Macaroon is the story of John's struggle to save his job and his romance with Ellen Miller, a more senior associate whose past comes as a surprise.
