The Sons of Apollyon is the story of Elisabeth St. James, an ambitious young television reporter in Columbus, Ohio, who just uncovered the news story of a lifetime. God’s a vampire and so is Satan. Now only if she could write about it.

Her discovery happens while covering a series of ritualistic killings of suspected prostitutes. During the investigation, she meets Shane Brennan; a private detective hired by one of the victim's parents. At first, his beauty enthralls her until she discovers he is immortal, and carries a sword that blazes with the power of the sun. Even so, something about his eyes ignites a lust she cannot control. As the two delve deeper into the case, Elisabeth discovers the plot behind the murders, is an ancient darkness, a being known by many names; his followers call him, Apollyon.

Before the murders began, her only worry was a rival newscaster. Now, Elisabeth finds herself holding the sword of God in her hands, along with the fate of mankind.
