Everything That Glitters Ain't Gold

This is the story of Tomika Smith, a beautiful and bright college grad returning home to Detroit, Michigan after receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Florida A&M University. After six months of being back at home, Tomika hasn't found a job. Being fed up with Tomika's lazy ways, her mother convinces her to attend Sunday morning service, in hopes that she will be motivated to do something with her life. But, there at church Tomika meets the man of her dreams, Keith Jackson who faithfully attends church every Sunday. To the congregation at Forth Miracle Baptist Church Keith Jackson is an eager tither and a man of God, he even participates in church functions. Keith Jackson also has a dark side; he is a known drug kingpin and executioner to all the thugs in Detroit, Michigan and Cleveland, Ohio. Since Tomika has been gone for the last four years, she is ignorant to all the heavyweight drug dealers in the game. Her best friend Simone, who is the biggest gold digger in Detroit doesn't waste any time catching Tomika up on everything that's been going on in the city. When Tomika's young fast-tail cousin, Keisha finds out that Tomika is dating Keith, she becomes extremely jealous, and conspires on getting Keith for herself. Because of Keith Jackson's title as the King of Detroit, Tomika finds herself in hazardous situations. Will Keith Jackson be the man of Tomika's dreams or her nightmares?
