Twelve-year-old Jenna is missing, and her uncle, Dutch Law, Amish ex-Pittsburgh Homicide Detective, must travel to Florida to find her. What Dutch finds is a minister with a religious empire and a web of scams as tangled as the roots of the mangroves that dot the Fort Pierce inlet, a gambler who can't afford to lose, a drag queen who loves everyone, and a beautiful Vietnamese/American stripper who is afraid to love at all--but little Jenna is nowhere in sight. The players in this deadly game are controlled by the desire for one thing--treasure--Florida shipwreck treasure that the sea releases from its watery grave only once in a lifetime. As the scramble for the treasure begins, Dutch must pit his skill against the rest in a desperate bid to free Jenna, but finds himself at the mercy of the one man who did good that evil may come.
