Season of Hope

In the late 1960’s America was in a state of upheaval. The Vietnam War was raging. Leaders Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bobby Kennedy have been assassinated. There are war protests, women’s liberation marches, long-haired hippies, a sexual revolution, and a sense that the world will never be the same. In the midst of this chaos, close friends Danny Coulter and Isabelle Long are at a crossroads in their lives. Young, idealistic, invincible, each ventures out of their small town of Shadow, Oklahoma, in pursuit of their dreams; he to study art at Tulsa University; she to chase her dreams of fame in California. Though a thousand miles apart, Danny and Isabelle continue to come together and fall apart, comforting each other in loss and fighting the truth at the heart of their relationship. Their paths are permanently linked. There will never be anyone capable of loving them as completely, or wounding so deeply.
