One with Christ | Series One

You shall love the Lord you God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. - Matthew 22:37 Our highest call in Christ is to love God completely, with every part of who we are. If Jesus is the desire of our heart then loving Him with our entire being is to be our focus and goal. But is it really possible to love God with all our heart? And if it is possible, how can we experience the reality? How can we know and love Jesus in a way that is all-consuming, intimate and real? To grow in our love for Jesus, we need the theory of love to become our personal experience. We need to seek God to make His truth our reality. So do we want to grow in Jesus? Will we give ourselves to loving Him with all our heart? In these studies, we start by looking at Scriptures that focus on reality. We learn of the abundant life that God has called us to and how He works in us to create that life. We go on to discover how the Spirit of God grows us through spiritual experience as He takes us from theory into reality. This series provides the foundation for the following series which looks closer at growing in God and being united with Jesus.
