Dr Steve Builds a School for Miss Lee

Dr Steve Burroughs, an Australian Sustainable Building and Remote Design Expert with a PhD in Architecture and Ms Dixie Brown Lee, a primary school teacher in an urban American school, combine their experiences to create a series of children's project learning math and science books. The 'Dr Steve Builds' series of books draw upon the experiences gained by Dr Steve Burroughs, Canberra, Australia while working in Southern and Western Africa and in remote locations in outback Australia. This book, Dr Steve Builds a School for Miss Lee, is based on a project to build a school in remote Africa. It engages the school children and enables them to learn mathematics and science through problem solving and discovery learning. Dr Steve and Miss Lee are offering teacher training and instruction in project leaning to compliment the Dr Steve series of books.
