The Psych

In a turbulent underground society, vast complexes have become the cities of the future. Ruled by a rigid unforgiving government, a world created from necessity has become a prison within a planet; escape a difficult concept. Within this world, Jonathan Dane has begun showing signs of power budding within him. He is a psych, one of many cropping up in a world where synthetic air and water sustain life. Jonathan’s trusted doctor knows that the confused and naive young man is displaying power that is greater than any psych before him, a perfect addition to a sinister invention the doctor has created. As Jonathan discovers the deception of his doctor and the horrors of the invention, a team of scientists fight in seclusion to design an escape from the shackles of a dying Earth; a device that will deliver them to the salvation of the lush and fruitful past. With government forces that are seeing revolution at every crossing closing in on their secretive work, the team is attacked leaving two survivors fugitives in a desperate race against time. When the fugitives’ destiny collides with the budding force of a powerful psych, a final battle occurs pitting the unforgiving and forceful military against a confused young man who has suddenly discovered he contains a seemingly limitless force within him.
