After finally quitting a stressful real estate career, Janet was content just being at home for her husband Eddie and for her two kids, Robbie and Gabrielle. Life had finally slowed down, and Janet had every intention of keeping it that way. But after a day of mundane errands, Janet returns home to find out that the bank branch she had deposited checks at that day had been robbed at gunpoint -- almost immediately after she had driven off. He had been in the bank while it was being robbed and had experienced the whole frightening ordeal. Janet, glad to be talking to a pleasant person and not an angry client on the phone, agrees to meet David for coffee so she can hear all about the bank robbery. But their simple chat over coffee turns into a nightmare as Janet is violently drawn into David's ugly marital troubles with his soon to be ex-wife Kelly. Janet is forced to match wits with this angry and scorned woman, to save herself and David from whatever Kelly has planned for them.
