Aleksey Kipling should be satisfied with his life. He has a good job that he enjoys, is engaged to an incredible woman, and is one of the top amateur triathletes. That’s where the problem lies. Aleksey wants to be more than an amateur triathlete; he wants to become a professional. This was always just a dream until he gets an invitation to take part in a series of triathlon races that will give him the chance to win more money than he would make in four years of teaching and, more importantly, become a professional triathlete and race in Europe. In order to achieve this dream, Aleksey will have to race against the best triathletes in the country and dedicate himself completely to the sport he loves. In the series, Aleksey will face more than just his competition. He will have to overcome many bumps in the road, literally and figuratively. Aleksey will be entering a new side of the sport that he has never seen before and leave him questioning if this is the same sport that he spent years racing in. Aleksey will have to endure more than he bargained for and come to the realization that physical endurance will not be enough to win this competition. Aleksey will be faced with more than just the challenge of racing. With everyone counting Aleksey out, he will only have his fiancée, Krista, and an unorthodox coach for support. Aleksey will risk his career, reputation, social life, relationship, and life in this triathlon challenge that will leave the most stout endurance athlete gasping for breath.
