At a turning point in her life, Millar decided to leave the comforts of family, friends and a successful career in Canada in pursuit of her lifelong dream of living and working in Africa. There, she worked to "give back" as a volunteer, lecturing and working as a Financial Adminstrator. This was only the beginning of her amazing journey.
