World War II Through the Eyes of Children is a series of interviews following several individuals during the late 1930's and '40's, when their youthful lives were shattered, their faith questioned and their hope nearly crushed. This book invites you to walk with them through their fear, violence and emotional desolation. Those incredible early experiences did not push them toward revenge or self-destruction, but motivated each of them to find and unleash strength, courage, and stamina.
These survivors freely and enthusiastically gave the gift of their life stories. Each wanted theirs to be examples that one can be at the very edge of total destruction; but still find, from deep within oneself, a path back.
