Nox Noctis Medicus

This little book arose from the challenges of working as a nocturnist (an internal medicine in-patient specialist, or hospitalist, who works exclusively at night) admitting and consulting independently while overseeing both internal and family medicine residents admitting to their respective academic services. There are unique challenges at night that can be made more challenging when residents do not have the appropriate tools to deal with both simple and more complex problems of an increased patient to provider ratio.
