The Gods Of Dahomey

The Gods and Goddesses of Imperial Dahomey ( the modern day Republic of Benin in Africa) return to the mortal world after a thousand-year hiatus. They descend upon the City of Atlanta, Georgia, in search of the descendants of their former worshippers among the Pan-African Diaspora. As ordinary men and women encounter ancient African deities in the twenty-first century, the old and the new clash. Social, cultural and racial politics also come into play. One thing for sure, when mortal and Immortal must share the planet Earth, the world will simply never be the same.
