Mandate of Blood

The vampire Alexis is renowned for her duties as a Hunter - enforcer of the Mandate of Blood - and as several of her fellow Hunters begin to meet untimely ends Alexis suspects there is more to their destruction than chance. When Alexis is sent to Boston, Massachusetts to investigate a series of brutal murders she begins to track a Rogue vampire with a flair for dramatic death and powers she cannot face alone. As the mystery deepens she no longer knows who she can trust and discovers a human is somehow connected to the events. Eventually she must decide who to trust, to discover the truth, before it costs more than her own undead life.
