And she, believing her to be really dead, exclaimed, " What a sin it was for you to let this girl die in (9) Putantes itaque et hanc de corpore similiter eductam, spe reversionis ejus servabant eam. (10) Factum est autem, dum sic puella resideret immota, ut introiret ad eam sub noctis initio mulier vicina, quae tenerius eam diligebat, credensque revera mortuam, exclamavit dicens, "Quam male egistis, qui puellam hanc William (i. 190-3) when living in the body, he had taken away and kept the key of the Church of St. Mary while another priest was celebrating mass therein.
