Hardway to Heaven

John Malone, a corporate attorney and father of two young boys is a man consumed with getting promoted to partner at his law firm. He has little time for anything religious, especially after the death of his mother. Unfortunately for John, shortly after being promoted to partner, he is diagnosed with a brain tumor and dies shortly thereafter. Since John did little to develop his inherent spiritual nature of love and faith, he wakes up in the first or lowest of seven levels of heaven, the level where those with no faith are sent. Fortunately for John, a man named Marcus whom John befriended just before his death arrives at the same time. Unlike John, Marcus seems to have a better understanding of where they are and why they are there. It is a story of faith, love and friendship. It is also a story which illustrates that while there are many differences among the various religions of the world, there are many similarities as well and perhaps it is these similarities that are truly divine.
