Early in the present century the representative of the long line of owners was Sir Henry Harewood, a man of a roving disposition, who wandered about from place to place, chiefly on the Continent, in search of pleasure which, had he been so minded, he might have found with less trouble to himself and more profit to his countrymen at home.
