His writing career spanned more than sixty years, and his early science fiction novels earned him the title (along with Jules Verne and Hugo Gernsback) of "The Father of Science Fiction". "The Secret Places of The Heart" is a novel about an Man traveling the English countryside with a psychiatrist in an effort to work out his marital problems.
